hello everyone been around the site for a couple weeks or so now, thought i would say hello. i am from the mobile al area. i have a 91 nissan 240sx with super hicas (rear steer for those not familiar). i have a friend that is wanting to swap a 91 integra and i am thinking about it, joined the site to get some info, and learn a little more about them. also wondering how to tell if a ecu is chippable if possible without removing the ecu or cover. any help would be appreciated. tried to post else where but couldn't wouldn't allow new post even thought i am a registered member insight on that would be nice also, thanks again

the interior is clean now, also door panels are installed


and a couple of the outside



here is a pic of the integra, it has a few goodies on it, those goodies include adjustable coilovers, 17"wheels, black leather front seats, short shifter, header, short ram cold air intake, light weight flywheel, power sunroof, windows converted from power to manual missing black driver door panel, ac and power steering deleted also it is a 91 model ls b18 5 speed

Looks like a pretty stock 240. Could use some fresh paint though ;)

I would remove those wheels and put some OEM meshies or blades on it. I think they would look much better.

For the ECU question in your original post (I didnt see it in there), any ECU can be chipped. Its just a matter of soldering one in. What you do need though, is a tuner to put a proper map on the chip so your car runs at its peak. This can only be done on a Dyno. I do not recommend purchasing a "Chipped" ECU off of eBay or elsewhere. These are one-size-fits-all maps, and are hit or miss. You need a tune specifically to YOUR vehicle, not what a company (or individual) thinks will work on all cars.

so do yall think i should swap. i know a place here that can do the toon and all, they have a dyno and specialize in honda's lol. if i do get it i want to get the meshies i have a friend with someon a civic, and may have a chance to get some blades i know someone who has some is talking about getting rid of them and even said somethinga bout the wheels on that car, just gotta wait on his to decide, he does know what thay are also btw

well actually i meant ya think i should swap the 240 for it. i will say 1 thing about this forum and that is thanks for not flaming cause of having a non integra or acura/honda, most sites would have. but if i do get the intgra it will see a vtec conversion done to start with eventually, then maybe more later

:welcome: I'm from Biloxi, MS..but live in Dallas now. I'm sure you already know the endless possibilities with both cars, just have to decide if you want FWD or RWD :what:
