I have an 1999 acura integra gs and I want more power. Is there potential in the gs motor to make it fast? Or am I better off saving for a motor swap? keep in mind that its a automatic :suprise:

you can work with the auto, but the tranny just will not be able to take much power....

Welcome!

btw how u can make a auto tranny stronger?
switching it to a 5 speed, lol no
the thing with an automatic is the shift points are set up mainly for fuel economy rather then performance, the engine will shift when it wants at certain loads rather then when you want. so one thing you could try is to put in a shift kit which will allow you to set the shifts longer or shorter depending on your desires

welcome to the site, your best bet would be is getting a shift kit or you swap her out either way anything is possible
