I just bought a JVC KD-G310 headunit and a wiring harness for G3 Integras at circuit city..in the JVC box it came with a wire with a black plug that plugs into the headunit, and at the bottom of it it has wires and the tip (i guess is for cutting the plastic and pluggin it into the wiring harness..the wiring harness has a big GREY adapter and a clear white Plug...
o yea the grey adapter in the wiring harness is for the stock wiring to plug in..

do i plug the black plug wires into the clear white plug in the wiring harness?

i'm lazy to go back..so do i cut the plastic of the wires at the end of the black plug and connect the ends to the clear white part? i wouldn't mind cutting.

Why didn't Circuit City sell you the harness that goes from a JVC deck to a Honda? Even if they didn't have one in stock, it would've been cheaper just to get the standard Honda harness with no plug at the other end.

But yeah, you have it right....cut off that smaller white plug and attatch the harness from the JVC to that end.
DJNAS is right, all the colors should match. Just read your JVC manual to make sure that yellow is constant power and red is ignition power, because the yellow coming out of the Honda end will be constant but some head unit companies make yellow ingition and red constant. If you get them backwards the radio will still come on, but you'll have to hit the power button to turn it on, the clock will never remember the time and all your bass/treble/balance/fade setting will always be reset every time you turn off the deck.

You don't need the orange/white wire coming from the Honda harness, it's the dimmer wire. From here, it doesn't look like you have one on your JVC. Make sure you cap the end of that wire after you cut it because it will be live when you lights are on, don't wanna short out the deck and pop a fuse.

It doesn't look like you have a power antenna wire coming from the JVC harness either. It would be blue. You can use the remote wire (amp turn on wire) for that, the blue/white one. Attatch that to the blue in the Honda harness.

The two white, greys, greens and purples are the speaker wires and the black is ground....they all match up...piece of cake. :)

Let us know how it goes.
