Headlight Switch

my headlights stopped turning on about a week ago

first click - would of course turn on my dashboard & fog lights on.

second click - would turn on my lights. well they dont come on.

before it just stopped working i would have to try and force it a little for them to go on. now they just dont work anymore. anyway to find out if i need a new light switch or can i somehow manually make a switch to turn on my lights?

Check you're fuses if their blown.Check to see if their getting power with a light tester.Do the simple things first

I wouldnt use a test probe, that will only tell you there is power but not how much cause it will turn on with only like .9 volts and your head light need 12v to work. I would get a DVOM or volts meter and make sure you have 12 voltz at the plug, but im going to bet its you head light switch. If you have HID throw that crap out and get some reall bulbs

thank you so much for the replies.

i did check all my fuses and they are all okay.. at one point it would take a little pressure to turn em on then it got worse and just stopped working.

i believe it is the headlight switch.. anyway to make them into a button headlight switch like custom?

they cost 130$ brand new and the junkyard dont have any...

okay well i found some a 90-93 acura integra OEM headlight wiper combo switch 4d - the picture says LS 4 Door

i have a LS 2 Door.. will it fit?.. is it the same connection?
