I'm trying to grab some after market headers for my 01 gsr sedan and kinda have an idea what I want but does specification matter? can I buy one for an Ls but use it for mines? I heard some b series headers wont fit all...HELP!!!

Usually the problem you run in to is clearing the oil pan do to deck heights in that situation. I have only heard of the b16 guys having those issues though. What header are you looking at and for what head/block set up, just stock gsr?

The only header that won't fit your car is a 94-99 gsr header. All other years and models will bolt up.

@nick thinking about going with dc sport

@gsrteg
so could I buy one for an LS in the same year and would it bolt right up?

In my opinion, do not go with dc sport man....Performance wise they are not worth the money at all. What makes you want dc sport? Is it because you want a CARB legal header? Or are you going for performance?

The problem with most headers is the length of the A pipe.
all 94-01 integras except the gsr have the same length, the 94-99 gsr have a shorter a pipe, and a different b pipe

I was going for carb legal.....so what would be best cause I'm kinda on a budget...looking to spend 200-250...

Well the best option performance wise for that price would be to buy a PLM performance header(Narrow or toda replica) and just weld the CARB plate on it from a crappy legal header :p

Not much performance comes from CARB legal headers, really just for style points. But edelbrock pro-flo's are decent I have heard. You can also just go with the DC sports, since the power difference among all the CARB ones are going to be about the same.

ehem....i work for CARB mister!

DC Sports will give you power gains but not much. Comptech or greddy are two other alternatives

Hook him up with a plate then lol. (Oh and nice build thread Mr CARB :p )

And don't look at me, I don't rock a carb plate. I could care less if my header is CARB, the ship for my car being legal sailed long ago. ;)
