Header heat wrap

Does anyone recommend the header wrap. To keep the headers cool and produce more hp. Is it worth getting.?

If you can find a good deal for like $20 or less then get it.

But don't go to Kragen and buy their $50 rolls. That's a rip off.

You can find some online for around $15-$25.

If your hood always gets hot and is starting to fade, sure get it. Or if your header always gets extremely hot.

what if the header is in normal condition, hot but not extremely hot, does the wrap actually help cooling down the heat and produce more power for the car????

In my opinion, it's like changing spark plugs or something along those lines.

They might not make that much power, but it's something that will make your car run better.

It's like a "supporting mod" if you want to call it that. It's not a major modification itself, but if you get it, it's one of those things that will help it run it's best.

^ Agreed.My brother drives an 05 supercharged nitrous Dc5 and he put on some heat wrap for the headers and barely noticed a gain on the dyno.
