Having problems with my ABS

I just bought this car (1996 Integra LS) and this is only one of the problems I've discovered so far. It runs like a champ so I'm not too worried right now. To the here and now though, my problem is this...

I turn the car on and after a few seconds I hear a strange noise coming from the ABS motor (?). It turns off after a second or two of this, then resumes 15ish seconds later. This cycle continues for about two minutes whereby the ABS light comes on in the dash and the noise ceases.

Forgive me, I'm still an absolutely idiot when it comes to cars. I've been reading alot on the net the last two days about the car in general and this problem specifically and can't really find a definitive answer. I just went to Pep Boys today and the guy suggested I put some brake fluid in the ABS reservoir but that didn't seem to work either.

Here is a pic of specifically where the noise is coming from as well as a video in which the noise is very obvious

Thanks in advance!!

That could be some sort of relay that has gone bad. If it wasnt dark, Id go out and look at mine to see what it is exactly. Have you tried removing that part? I dont see any screws from the photo, so I'd assume it was a plug.

Is is happening to me right now. As you start driving and start breaking, you'll hear that strange noise and feel a little vibration. After a while, the ABS will initially shut off then the light will appear. Just take the ABS out. That's what I'm going to do.

Im curious as to what is causing this as well. My dc2 does it. Im gonna replace the ABS computer and see if it takes it away.

nothing from nowhere
thats the abs relay. start w/getting a code.if the pump runs too long the abs computer will shut it down. u possibly have a bad modulator. try bleeding it.
