has anyone replaced the ignition switch before? mine is in process of taking a shit so ive got one on order waitin for the part store to get it in... im mechanicly inclined but ive never broke into the steering/dash area? is there a thread availible witha walk thru??

i did mine a few weeks ago the is a really good tutorial on youtube. just search ignition switch for your year integra. all you have to do is get all the guards and plastic crap out of the way and some basic tools .

There are manuals at any parts store, buy it and use it for future projects or just take it back when you're done

This is the whole purpose of the forum! lol Tam is right about this! The ignition switch is pretty simple to replace, afaik, it is just a plug and play device, that shouldn't take more than an hour or two, if you are a regular joe... GL!

its just like three screws
you take the steering wheel cover off on the left side there's two screws that go through a white plastic piece
then over by where you put the key in there's a little black piece w/ a small screw in it
then you just follow the wire down under the collumn and unclip it done and done
go in reverse for install

It was a legit suggestion, it has pictures and step by step instructions, not just a typical answer of "it's plug and play", that's a terrible response, mine was actually a decent idea and gives him a detailed answer. So get the hell off my ass, thank you good sir

thanks guys... put it in real easy... but according to the guy at my local autozone my ignition isnt electronic lmfao... so i asked him if it was ran on magical fuckin powers..sad part is he sat silent for about 10 seconds... gotta love the tards that get hired to work in these places..
