Harness Bar Question

Ok as you guys know I have a daily driver ITR with RECARO RACING SPEED SEATS. Now I just bought some harnesses thanks to some of you helping me out. My question is for my harness bar. I have people that ride in the back seat so do I have to get a harness bar that goes across behind my 2 front seats and gets in the way for the people who get in the back?

I thought you could mount the harnesses to the floor?

pretty much check out PAITR's harness setup thats the way its supposed to be done. plus by putting that bar there you stiffen up the suspension too.

Here you go. Just added Takata's so i'll have more pics soon. The bar needs to be above your shoulders so that it keeps the harnesses from pulling down on you incase of a collision.

Sparco makes a good harness bar. It looks really nice. Saw it in an Evo 9.

Nope. I wanted to keep my car a 3 seater. Also most passangers don't wear the harness right and I was worried about someone getiing hurt so I just put in the stock seatbelt.

I'm planning on doing the same thing. Just having a harness for the driver seat.
