Gude ls head ?s

im looking at buying a used gude head for my 1995 integra b18b1. it has aem cam gears, skunk 2 intake mani, gude throttle body, stock fuel rail and injectors, arp head studs and p75 ecu to match the head. i feel like its a good price but was looking for some info on this head. pros cons etc. anyone running this setup or one similar

never herd of them, the modifications it has wont really work unless you retune the car. there is too much air for the motor

Lol my bad man, prob just a typo by you! They used to have these cams called Gude Bullfrogs that in the early part of the 2000's every one wanted, kind of like the Toda Vtec Killers (not the same type cam but similarity between how everyone wanted them). 1900 for a head package is a big extreme lol. If you are getting it for under 1000 bucks and its been fully port and polished and all that then yeah its not a bad deal. If not then look into some other companies such as PortFlow, Headgames (might be spelled with a Z) or Alaniz

Craigslist is helpful. You can sometimes(if your very lucky) pick up a head for 50-150 and build it up yourself

For the same price you can get the vtec head, or even a complete vtec motor. Price per pony, not worth it

The OP never mentioned a price for this built LS head did he? If its under $500 then buy it, if its more then that then pass

^^This is a valid point.

My post was in reference to the site pricing listed on one of the links provided above. If you are paying retail for that, I'd pass IMHO, if you get it for dirt cheap then I'd roll with it.
