GT30R break into the 10's?

you guys think a GT30R can be used to break into the high 10's 1/4 mile? on a fully built ls motor? GT30R's are suppose to be rated up to 500-550hp

why not. 500 is plenty to get in to 10s i have seen ls motors get in to 10s with under 400 hp.
or maby a t67

horsepower is horsepower, u have to think of other factors thats in the game if u wanna break the 10's....u need to get all that power to ur wheels and to the ground, that much power...ur pretty much gonna be spinning out from 1-3 gear if not more. good tires, good clutch, and a good launch.

AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT WEIGHT AND TORQUE. 500 horsepower in a 2500lb car isn't going to be as fast as it would in a 2100lb gutted LS.

no vids it was in a civic so you dont need a super lot of power a built motor is a built motor think he put 340 to the wheels 92 opal green civic LX 10.897 @ 130.6 mph. all LS and turbo haha

might be possible with a good driver and some slicks and a completely gutted car

I know its RWD but I hit high 10 in my 240 with an sr20det t25 potato disk turbo, worked by turbo inovations, completly gutted with some dragradials. All stock internals so I could see it possible. I was making just about 400 and a little under 4 in torque.
