Its not really what size. Its what kinda hp numbers you want and when u say built do you have headwork? Something likw a GT35R should work for you.

A GT30 or GT35 turbo is fairly hefty. those will get you into the ~200-500whp range easy. My buddy is rocking a GSR motor in a EG civic hatch on a GT35 turbo and ran an 11.1 sec 1/4 mile... (@ only ~390whp) (can't remember boost psi)

However, since the 16G setup uses a different flange i'm pretty sure, you might need a new turbo manifold also.

I say, if you've got the money, swap manifolds and get a GT35 and re-tune.

You could always upgrade to an 18G or 20G turbo also. They are slightly smaller turbos than a GT35 I believe, but with an 20G you could probably still pump mid 300whp with a re-tune.....

300hp? They aren't that small.

Depending on what model 16G it is, they flow enough to support 340-380hp.

The 20G will support 450hp if it is TD06

i like the new borg warner ett series better than the garrett ball bearings. is your block sleeved? if not stay around the 450-500 mark unless you plan on rebuilding it again soon. is it your daily? if so, you will want a turbo that is more efficient around the pump gas level since that is where it will be driven most. depending on your budget, i personally like the 60-1. you can make 600hp on it, but it spools fast enough to be a great street turbo for a pump gas tune around 450hp.
