gsr gauge cluster in an LS

I was wondering if a third gen gsr gauge cluster will work in a 3rd gen ls

yes it will fit and it will work also. Its plug and play. I had it in my 96 LS before i crashed it. If you need one cheap let me know i have one forsale check my link in my sig.

But doesn't the GSr redline at 8000rpm and the ls redlined at 7000 rpm and the gsr goes upto 9000rpm and the ls goes to 8500rpm will the rpm match up still

the graphic will be different. So you need to understand you cannot rev up that high with your car. Other than that, you should be fine

I know it will still redline at 7000 but will the rpms be exact on the gauge or will it be off a little bit like when I'm at 3000rpm will it actually be like 3500rpm or will it be right on

it will be fine... your tachometer will read what the ICM outputs.
