GSR and LS throttle cable difference

i need to know if the throttle cable from a GSR is different from a LS because ihave a LS in my gsr right now and the cable seems to be too long, with lots of slack...

can anyone help me with this..?

It is definately different. The LS cable comes across the front of the intake maifold to the throttle body and the gsr loops around the back of the intake manifold. I think it's about a foot difference.

does anyone have a picture of how i should run my cable .... maybe a picture of a stock ls

You should be able to find a thread that is just pics of Ls engine bays, I don't remember if there was a good shot to see that though.

on a side note... is a LS throttle cable the same as the type r?
