Grr... Stupid shop!, Stupid oil!, Stupid DB1, Stupid oil spots!.

The DB1 was in the shop for 2 weeks... Getting abunch of stuff fixed.... 1 thing on the list was the simplest.

A oil change... Easy right?, Last time i did it myself.

I get the car back Wednesday and park it in my usual spot... Come out next morning and there's liquid dripping out of it... I check and its oil, So i check the oil (dipstick) and its alittle to much oil... No biggie... So i drive it about 3 more times and each time parking in different directions in the same spot in my driveway, And each time it keeps leaking (my fault!)... So i checked the oil last night and it was low... WTF.

So i jack it up to see where its leaking from, The drain bolt... So i start tightning it... Oh what do you know... Its stripped :x :evil:

My dad wanted to call them right then and there to have them pick it up (tow truck) but i need the car for a car club meeting Saturday So i just have to keep like 5 quarts of oil in my trunk and keep close tabs on it until monday

they probaly shot it on with and air tool and stripped it. deffinitly raise hell at the shop. thats why if you can do something yourself you should. shops suck

that is true man shops does suck, because all they can think about is how fast they can finish your car so they can get your money, but at the same time they don't care what happens to your car. yeha shiet like that happens to my car to when it's in the shop hahahha fuckin idiots man.

never use air tool when changing oil/filter.. and remember use new crush washer for the bolt everytime you take it out.

The guy that did told me "OH FINALLY YOU GUYS BROUGHT A HONDA!!!" (He worked on all of our other cars [Ford (x2), Dodge, Pontiac]).... Then he explained how he has worked on Hondas for 9 years and knows them inside and out... Guess not.

Dumbass what kinda filters do you guys use? I get the fram just because of the sure grip thing, they are usually a bitch to take off if its not the fram.

when i change the oil i usually go with the castrol gtx and a fram oil fillter so at leats if i know its a oil leak, its my fault

Honda OEM, never had a problem taking it off.

could be worse though. i let a shop work on my car once. only once though. they put in my racing front axles and rear driveshaft, and forgot to put fluid back in my tranny. can we guess what happened....... :angryfire

Change the oil
Fix the reverse lights
Synchromesh the transmission
Tire rotation... WTF, Hahaha! $20 well wasted... The tires/wheels i had on my car were my friends
Radiator Flush
Install and recieve a "Fast Idle Valve" and "Starting Idle valve"
