I agree with MoJo, you'll be able to make more power if you want, use the parts you want to get, etc.

but he doesnt know much about turbos he said... so it might be best if he gets a complete kit with instructions (unless a shop will be installing it)

and as far as e-manage... how easy is it to tune yourself (properly) if you dont know a whole lot of the "technical" stuff? and that eliminates having to take it to a garage to get tuned all together?

the greddy kit is good for those that are'nt looking for crazy gains. the greddy kit can be taken up to 11 psi and i ve seen some greddy kit ls's making 230 to the wheels. eventually you can ditch the emanage and the 18g turbo for 20g and you can see 250 hp to the wheels. is this is your first time going turbo go with the greddy kit. eventually you can have the knowledge and experience to build your own turbo kit. 8)

230 to the wheels of an ls is still pretty damn sweet though. and i do believe the greddy kit is set up for a stock motor... though its probably still recomended that the engine be built some. so basically a turbo like that with a few other mods you can really make some decent power.

damn it i really need to boost :x

ls's are better for boost. my friend sean has a ls-turbo civic running a custom turbo kit , precision turbo sc61 and he's pulling 320 to the wheels out OF A BONE STOCK LS. it was tuned by Jeff Evans and he's running 11's with a LS! its all in the tune and tuner.
