I am new here on the site and have some questions that hopefully can be answered. I use to own a 97 ls so im not completely new to Integras but ive been in the eclipse scene for a long time. I just sold my eclipse and have found another Integra i like and want to buy. Its a 95 gsr with 114k miles. Hes my friend and hes asking 3 grand for it. The only problem is where the rear quarter pannels meet the back bumper there is a rust spot on both sides thats about the size of a silver dollar and it goes all the way through. The paint is also not perfect but i plan on painting anyway after i get the rust fixed. How much does a fix like that usually cost? Good buy or no? Thanks and also hello!

The body is a easy fix. I would be be looking to see if the motor runs good, if the tranny doesnt slip or grind, see how it handles. Have you test drove it?

If you want to change color, it will be more expensive if you want to match the engine bay. Stick to the same paintjob and just do the outside. Could be less that 1k depending how much damage there is to the car. Seems like a good buy if it's in good condition. Compression test it

He says the engine is completely sound and hes been a friend for a while so i dont think he would screw me. The paint on it now is the dark green color that comes factory. Thats the color my old teg was so i kind of want to change it up. I dont have a pic of it yet but ill be test driving it and buying it tomorrow if all goes well. He also has already done some suspension work. I dont recal the brands but its on new springs and shocks. He said hes spent about 1.5k in suspension already. Hes only getting rid of it because he wants to pay off his s2k.

Dont paint the engine bay and keep with the same color. Its a sweet color in my opinion, if it is indeed the factory green. It wont cost 3-4k. Also pictures would be nice! lets see it!

Im picking her up tomorrow around 2pm so ill post up a few pictures when i get it back home. I really want to paint it white but idk i guess ill see how much more it will cost to change the color. It doesnt look great right now but after a couple weeks ill have it looking flawless. Oh yea and the suspension work he has done is koni yellow adjustables and h&r sport springs.
