As of now it kinda seems like ima be FORCED to get a new engine and tranny.. i was hoping to save this for more down the line with my car but as of noww i need my car super bad, so i need ideas of what to get and was thinking between a B20B with a B16 tranny from what i hear thats a good combo.. ?? but i kinda like the B18 block to work with..
my budget is between $1,000 - $1,200 ... and thats just for the motor and transmission, i might do a self installation.
what im asking is whats a good B18 or B20 transmission combo for my 90 DB1.. im even thinking about B16's but idk.. i just see people getting those like crazy but whatever is within my budget ill take into consideration.. im looking for Vtec and willin to swap Heads ex: B20 with B16 vtec head.
Im kinda noob at this so just help me out pleaseee i kinda need to know what to do with my options by the end of this week and hopefully have a good combination to put into my DB1..
oh and also whats the difference between a CABLE and HYDRAULIC transmission??????????
