getting my stock ecu tuned and chip

so just like the title says, i have a buddy that tunes and chip ecu and i was just wondering if it is fully safe to get it tuned with my stock motor....

i have a b18a1 on my DA and everything is stock except for simple bolts on....

so my question is... Is it safe? what are the things im gonna get out of this?
he said better gas, more power, and make it run as good as possible?

s right. but if you have an obdo ecu you have to check and see iff you have the 28 prong chip. if not you will have to upgrade to an ecu that is able to be chipped

If his screen name is taken from his car, then it's a 92 and it's an obd1 car.
