My boys are working out of town just like by a hour but found a performance shop that has CTR pistons on LS rods.....they told me they'd buy them when they get paid......Can't wait to throw them in my GSR motor....what you guys think? Also any advice on what else to do while I'm gonna be putting those pistons in?

Wait, so these are going into a GSR block? You're going to need an LS crank to go with those rods.

you will have VERY little clearance with a GSR head and CTR pistons... hope you know what you are doing

Wat they said^^^ but if u can't get ur hands on a ls crank a local shop told me I could get a thicker head gasket. This is there word not mine just throwing it out there

I'm not sure a thicker head gasket can make up for the different rods.

GSR rods would work better if you're using a GSR crank.....
Just don't mismatch the rods with the crank.

Well I've got a full JDM B18C in the car so I could just put the pistons on my stock rods and it should be fine...thanks for all the input though guys

I don't think you can put them on GSR rods. I don't recall why and he's right about the LS Rods stroke.
If you want higher compression get JDM ITR pistons or Del Sol B16 P30's.

Don't know a whole lot about B16B CTR Pistons. And they would make compression really high.
You can't just swap pistons either, they will require tuning.

I suggest you just do an entire build at that point.
