But in all seriousness, they are pretty similar. The gen 3s do come with hydro transmissions, are easier to find obd-1s, and are easier to find used parts for ect. But I like the 2nd gens a lot more. You don't see as many of them around.
If I had a choice. Gen 1 all the way with a turbo K swap. That was my original plan but could not find a rust free gen 1. I gave up since I need to finish up my gen 3 and into my nephew hands since my mind is set on another project.
