allright guys sorry if its a repost of another thread. but im to tired to think right now...

i just picked up a 91 integra rs for 350$. ive been into hondas for a long time now, and just want to know a few things about the body on the DA

first off

would there need to be any mods to the front end done to mount the front bumper of a 92-93 oem bumper to it?

i tried to put a reinforcement bar from a 91 onto a friends 93 and they seemed like it didnt want to fit (his bodies also screwd up so...)

pretty much, this is going to be my daily driver, and my eg civic is going to be the fast weekend track/show car (yes im going to try both, lil jdm here lots of autox, road there)

ive already kinda got he body mapped out

body

92-93 front bumper
smooth front lip (no idea what styles are out there
civic ek skirts (i have a set from an old ek)
some sort of rear lip
one piece jdm healights
white/red taillights
shaved bumper
debadged back
da type-r spoiler
angled muffler out the back (i think ill do it on the right instead of on the left)
ill use my old set of tein hsports with my 94 dc2 itr lca's

really dont know whats out there. and i know theres lots of stuff out there for hondas so i figured id ask your guys opinions on some of the parts offerered for da's

You need to shave down your bumper foam or roll without it. Other then that. There is a slight difference in the support but its not extremely necessary. Just alittle more complicated to fit perfectly. But can be done with some time. I have done it before.

just vouching for this guy as far as his knowledge of hondas go ... he has a really sweet 5g hb (im on norcaltuners.com and norcalcivic.com)

anyways even though i hate anything remotely associated with "jdm" i gotta admit the 1pc jdm 90-93 heads look pretty good
\

and the 90-91 tails red out pretty easy there should be a how to on g2ic.com if there aint one here

For a front lip... for a smooth type there's a Carbon fiber JDP lip that looks pretty good. Wings west sells a mugen replica rear cover, and theres a "type r" replica rear lip on ebay. And why do you want to angle the muffler to the right?. There will be dual holes in that case and not to mention you'll have problems clearing the lip. I recommend keeping it on the stock side.

To each their own.

Your in Norcal?

one of my friends Da's, this cars the one give me a few good ideas. im not sure if im 100% liking the spoiler yet. but it grows on ya, similiar to a type-r, not exact but really close

well never rolled with front foam on my civic so i guess it should matter if i do it to the teggy.

DarkDB1 - i actually plan on shaving the other left side hole to make it smooth. im fairly decent at body work...as for the exhaust i kinda already have that too, alot of the parts going onto this DA are either old parts that i wanted to keep for my next honda or havnt sold em yet...

yea i live about 30 minutes north of sac, on I-80

haha type-r style then

its kind of like egs- where there is not type-r or mugen stuff for them. but there is replica stuff from the ek's thats not fitted to eg's.that

Actually no, I thought ventturi's name was Garret. I know someone with a purpleish Civic hatch in that area.
