fuel pump relay goes bad every few weeks?

ok so the previous owner neglected to tell me that he needed to switch out his fuel pump relay( brown relay box under driver dash) every few weeks. just painted the car, turned the key and diddent hear the relay open and no fuel pump. so i figured out it was the relay box not working. luckily the kid had a backup box under the das as well. so i plugged it in and it fired up. any ideas on why it would ruin these relays and only in week increments?

could have a bad ground or even a short somewhere. i had i issue with my tail lights blowing a fuse every few weeks. turned out to be a shorted out wire.

yea i think its probably a corroded ground somewhere. im printing out a diag of the wiring.
