fuel problem... i think

i got a 91 ls and it runs fine a lot of the time but every now and then, although it's becoming more frequent, it starts sputtering and acting like its not getting enough fuel. after it does it for a second or 2 it picks up and goes fine. i've also noticed it does it more after i've gone down a hill.. what could that be?

did you check ur cap and rotor and the plugs?

sadly, mine is doing similar. today, while it was idling, I decided to pull the plug wires (one at a time) to see if pulling it on any cylinder would cause the car to die. the very first one I did had an interesting result. pulling the wire just caused it to stumble a little bit, but it didn't die. HOWEVER, when I put the wire back on, the car fucking died. Now it won't start at all. It cranks fine, but it won't start.
