My daughters teg is giving me a headache maybe somebody he can give me an ideal. The car takes spells where it will not start turns over great. about a month ago replaced the relay under the dash that helprd for a while then right back doing same thing. So anyway thought the air boost valve was sticking cause I could hit it with a socket an it would start so took it off cleaned it out put it back on nothing no change.So took in take of sprayed everything out with cleaner starts up but dies spray some more in it starts try to give it gas after it starts it dies again. I just put new plugs in it this summer an it was real good spark. does any body have an ideal or a suggestion of what it could be.

Fuel regulator,pump,filter. One of those could be your problem. It sounds to me that your only getting enough fuel ti crank and idle but when you hit the gas it starves it. Change filter and regulatory first that's about 50 bucks.if that doesn't do it. Rent the fuel pressure tester from auto zone and make sure you have the right amount.if not your looking at the pump or a worn out relay.

ok update got out this evening took fuel line loose took out the filter. Fillter was full of gas got my son to turn the switch on nope nothing no gas pumped to the front. So kinda figure the relay was went bad again good thing its still under warranty from autozone.I get it on tomorrow an see what happens going to go ahead an put new filter on while I'm at it then go from there>boy i sure hope it aint the damn pump.
