Frustrated with correct ecu

i need to get a p28 obd1 ecu. this is no problem but i cant find one on ebay that isn't already chipped. i dont wanna get a pre socketed chip because sometime they fuck it up. i was gonna go get it done at a tuning shop. if anyone can help me i need a p28 nonchipped 5 speed ecu for my acura, throwing a 98 gsr in it.

get whichever P28 you can get(working of course) chipped or not, you can take the ECU to your local place of tunning and have em set up what basemap you want.

I suggest you buy a GSR ecu as its the only ecu that will run your car properly. P28 doesnt have knock or secondary butterflies

I have a socketed and chipped OBD1 Vtec ECU. If you're interested in it let me know.
It was socketed at Secret Services Auto in Houston, Tx. Very reputable shop in Houston that has socketed 3 ECUs for me and tuned 2 cars and always had high quality of workmanship.
