Front strut install problem

I purchased skunk2 sport struts and springs for my car a few months ago and we finally installed them. The rear 2 were no problem but the front are giving us trouble. After having a hard time compressing the springs and getting the hat on, we put them on my car. When we lowered the car back down the middle bolt on both sides is sticking out a few inches. The struts clunk around and it's supper bouncy to drive on the front. I have no clue what the problem is. Any ideas?

post some pictures if you can. It will help us diagnose the problem better. Also, were they strut/spring combo? or full coilovers

No I bought the sport struts separately and then the lowering springs. Nothing came with the springs just the springs alone ill get some pics as well

I think ur forgetting the tapered washers... iidk
