whats up CI just wanted to say whats good use to be a memeber of ej8 squad but i traded my slammed civic for a teggy GSR and im loving it. looking foward to meeting everyone.

i do have a question however i have rebuild the head due to burning oil but now it still smokes a lot not at idle only when i accelerate.
* now before you throw me all the links dont bother i have literally read them all.
ok so heres whats new
head done by professional shop
valves.valve seals, valve guides, hot tanked,repainted, and whatever else they do.
now i did have a poop load of dried oil on all 4 pistons go figure.
but the piston rings looked good.
changed the black box and pcv valve
still smoking,
could it be just all the oil burning off from everywhere like exhaust or top pistons?
really scratching my head
compression is 225 all cylinders
(less than 500 miles still havent went full synthetic)
what could it be theres always mixed answers on all the threads ive read so hoping its better with my post.

Not a lot of traffic over the weekend. Your issue would be better served, posted in all motor or 3rd gen forum. Nick4dei or muckman will probably see it and well capable of guiding you to the source. At least youve, for the most part, thoroughly went at it.

You will probably be asked in detail how you determined the smoking didnt/or also come from the rings. If youve noticed somewhat less smoke since the rebuild it could be old stuff burning off.
