Well I figured I would start one since I am decently new here and not many people know me. I am a full time student. Go to school in Boston. The car is a project and stays at home in NH.
I can't seem to find a picture of how I found her but long story short.
14 inch steelies
Cut ebay coils
All four blown struts
LSV with an unchipped p28 ecu
A lot of other silly gross stuff.

But with a little hard work and a good deal on a decent set of fives, here is the progress so far.

And a lot more to come. Feel free to let me know what you think.

Welcome! Glad you're working on the car's suspension. That is a vital part of a car.
What other plans you have for your car?

Um right now in order that it will probably be done.

1: Bottom end rebuild with GSR pistons.
2: Ebay tri-y header
3: Yonaka Cat back
4: Skunk 2 Pro Series Manifold and Throttle Body
5: ASR Subrame Brace
6: Energy Suspension full bushing kit.

Other little stuff I will do along the way
Replace oil feed line. They put a huge line on it and I think that is why it smokes a ton.
Semi tuck. Wiring's a mess where they had HID's then took them out so all the splices are there. Just ugly.
Possible T bracket? Motor doesn't shift if you move it but you can hear a legitimate thump when you let off the gas.

Those are the plans as of now

sounds like a solid build. however, I'd try to stay away from the ebay header...take a look at the CI store for all that stuff too (tunersports.com) they usually have pretty good deals on stuff

Clean car though! good luck with the build!

My thought is that headers are still mild steel whichever way you cut it. I just don't want to pay another $200 for something that works just as well but has a name on the top. I appreciate the input and thank you for the comments. I have been looking for a clean DC for a couple years now and finally found one with a 2000 front and rear swap like I planned on doing.

Picking up an ITR header Friday. Decided ebay is not the way to go and should have listened. Glad I caught myself before I spent shitty money. Pics up soon.

Quick updates for everyone.
Sway bars are in. Although a bitch to install they feel awesome!

Also:
ITR header was picked up Friday. Getting it acid dipped this week. Time to order my Cat and Yonaka catback.
GSR pistons are ordered. Rebuild kit is coming in soon. Head work is priced out and locked in.

Another month or so and this thing will be a really fun car to drive. Even more than it is.

It came out to 150 all together. For lapping the valves, planing fifteen thousandths, doing valve seals, and retapping a couple of the valve cover bolt threads.

I want to get a resurface and, get the valves, seals and guides replaced. It might be a little more. Sounds good though.
