How do you combat the changing ratios of Ethanol in the Winter Blend Vs. The summer blend? ( 70% Vs 85%) It seems like it could be a huge liability for high horsepower applications? Any answers would be appreciated.

Best thing to do IMO would be have 2 different tunes, its like when people have a pump gas and race fuel tune

^^ That or buy a 55 gallon drum of it from a company such as Rocket Brand. Or load up right before winter hits and store it.

I have been running e85 for the last year on my sti, it really is some amazing stuff, It might be different because i live in California but I think the summer and winter blend is the same. I have a test kik i got from online and i test between e83 and e87. when I get the lower e83 i keep out of boost a little but the car still runs great. Also if you have some kind of EM on the car you can plug in you laptop and monitor af, knock and all the engine vitals. What gauges do you have installed on your car?

As stated above, having 2 tunes might be ideal.

You can do 1 summer E85 tune, and then a pump gas tune for the winter, or an E85 winter blend tune.

^ very true, if something does not feel right it usually is not. and whit a tune on something like e85 you can really tell if its not true e85 as soon as you get into boost

Best sign its not true E85 when youre in boost is a knock knock boom sound.
