Is your car auto or manual? Might wanna start with cleaning you IACV and FITV. There are write ups floatin around here somewhere if youre not sure how to do that.

head gasket problems is a whole different problem theres something your over looking istead of saying there good change them i thought my wires were good cus they were clean as fuck but they weren't and when i changed them my car stopped bogging and having high idle problems
cars aren't cheap boy not for nothing take it to auto zone and they can do a couple of test for free you start from there

take your intake pipe off b4 your throttle body. right before the throttle plate there are 2 holes. one of them is for

the idle adjusting screw and the other is for IACV. the top i think is the IACV. stick your finger over the top hole

and if the idle goes back to normal your IACV is stuck open. clean that shit.

close..

The top hole is the IACV (intake air control valve) which the idle set screw also goes to.
Top hole on the inside of the throttle body

The bottom hole goes to the FITV (fast idle throttle valve)
The deal on the bottom of the throttle body.

Clean the iacv by taking off the two coolant hoses, unplug the connector, and then unbolt the two bolts holding it on. Spray some carb cleaner in it until it starts coming out clear. Let dry out then reassemble.

You can plug the iacv hole with your finger like stated above and if your idle levels itself out it needs cleaned.
