Flame Thrower Kits?

I enjoy Integras.
Just wondering, what's your guys' opinions on those flame thrower kits? How do they work? I read that they are harmful to your engine, that true?

no they arent harmful cuz most of them have a separate tank of fuel, usually propane from what ive seen. but i wouldnt put one on your integra.

I enjoy Integras.
I've never seen the ones with the seperate tank of fuel. The ones I've seen have a button you push to ignite a spark plug at the tip of your exhaust. Which I dont know how well that would work on something like ours. I always thought they looked kinda cool though. Theres a couple crx's on youtube with em. I saw a 180sx too. I imagine they both have nitrous, and its igniting something like that.

Nice joke. I'm not some punk ricer with neons and shit wanting to look cool and impress people. I worked hard to buy my integra, and would never junk it up. I've always just liked the how the flames looked. If your going to leave a dick comment, do it somewhere else. Don't use my thread to insult me like an ass. I asked a question to learn more about them, not to get responses from a smart ass. :)

you asked for my opinion and now your getting it... dont waste whatever money you were going to spend on this. it serves no purpose, and wil get you into trouble REALLY quick... they are highly illegal in most states and knowing how gay maryland is i dont doubt it illegal there

I doubt that was a flamethrower; the Supra probably shot flames because he was running a test pipe and a big turbo, it happens often with such a setup. I saw a 240 shoot 1 1/2' flames at the track once because of that; he almost grilled my front end. It LOOKED like a flamethrower but I guarantee you it wasn't.

Flamethrowers mimic that setup for n00bs who wanna pretend they have a big turbo setup.

Don't waste you're time or money man. Get some nice bolt ons, do some N/A work, or save for an FI setup if you ask me.

Maryland law is pretty strict.

Flame throwers are gay and they're ricey. But to each his own.

I just hope there's no Integra driving around my state with a flame thrower:roll:
