Fitv?

DA squad.
what is a "FITV" where is it AND how do you clean it?
i know its like that madd noob question, but for the most part.. thats what i am.

any help is greatly appreciated.

There should be a lil cylinder right underneath the throttle body. There are threads on how to clean it out,etc... Im not running my gsr TB, Im using my Ls TB on my Sk2 gen 1 manni. The Ls TB doesnt use a FITV, like the aftermarket TB dont either. I run a GSR and never really look into the ins/outs of a B16a...so im not even sure if the B16a has a FITV. Many tweek the IAVC/FITV when the idle is acting up.

i kno the other day my IAC fell off while i was on the highway so i hoped out and put it back on. since then when i start the car it hidles at like 100 ( doesnt shut off ) for like 1 minute then goes back up to idle normally.
could the problem be the iac got dirty and needs to be cleaned out or am i lookin at a whole diff problem?
