First Run STOCK DA...

Just wanted to let you guys know I just went to Englishtown Raceway on Friday Sept 4... I had a fun and put the DA on the track... I'm completely stock except for my ebay catback exhaust (which was a great buy). I ran on street tires, no air pressure let out, full interior.
I did 3 passes
1st pass was 16.21 with a 2.500 60ft. trapped at 85.39

2nd pass was 16.19 with a 2.549 60ft. trapped at 85.93

3rd pass was 16.14 with a 2.464 60ft. trapped at 85.86

I'm pretty happy with these times.... my DA has over 188,000 miles on it, so I think that's good for being stock.
I'm going to atco raceway soon, i'm going to let some air out, take out my spare tire, jack, tool box and see if I can get this in to the 15's stock.... Later on I'm thinking about getting a cable b16 trans and regular bolt-ons, maybe crower cams too. Let's see how low quick I can get this DA on stock internals.

Nice dude. You should do times after each mod you slap on so you can show everyone what each part does for you.

i was thinking about doing that. my bday is in a few weeks, i'm planning on spoiling myself a bit with an intake and header. then i'll try it again

work on your 60 foots.
yea i hear you... but for a stock DA what should i expect? supposedly these are supposed to run 16.2 stock.... i was launching around 4rpms with a little wheel spin. next time i'll go to atco raceway which lets u test & tune all night. I'll lower my tire pressure and see if i can launch higher

I <3 2.4l's
you should easily get 2.2, 2.1 60' fts. Better tires, driver mod.etc will help

Are you reving it up and dumping the clutch? if you feel your tires spinngin or start to spin, let off the throttle a little so they hook back up and nail it again.
