Ok so every now and then my teg will grind going into 5th gear, im going to try bleeding the clutch fluid and changing the MTF, i need to know where the bleeder valve for the clutch is, I need to know where the fill plug and the drain plug is on the transmission.

Tomorrow my friend is putting my car on the lift and checking to see where my power steering fluid leak is comming from, but I already asked him he said he doesnt know where the clutch fluid is, where the bleeder is, or anything he owns a 98 teg automatic but he says he wouldnt know what to look for

If 5th is grinding, its not your transmission oil. Just pull the tranny apart and swap in an 86-89 accords 5th gear, Youll get better mpg and they tend to be a lot more durable

It just has a higher ratio so on the hwy your rpms will be lower resulting in better mpg
Since you'll be at a lower rpm you'll either have to wait longer to pass or Dow shift more, but as for cruising to work with cruise control, you'll like it more.

I thought 1st gen Integras have a cable clutch?
I would know but I cant find a single Factory shop manual, Aussie could you do something about the thread for Factory service manual here in the first gen section the link does not work on it and since its a stuck thread I figure it would probably piss off new users or something ya know?

They do have cable clutchs. Now that he brings that up check the cable make sure it isnt stressed and stretched, real simple thing to happen.

But the 5th gear swap wont effect acceleration really. The 5th gear is just a little bit different in size and has bigger teeth.
This will help
