so im looking to buy an acura integra as my first car, and doing some basic mods too it. mostly exterior mods. i have 10,000 dollars to spend on a car. im not looking on spending 10,000 on a car my max is probaly gonna be around 7 - 8,000 dollars too it but i wanted to ask the people in here cuz they seem to know what there talking about and i really dont know too much about cars but i want to get into it. and if anyone is looking to sell there car and want to give me a good price with low milage then id talk to them about it. but i just wanted to know what exterior mods would look good with an integra? and how much thatd cost cuz im looking to end up with a mainly show car maybe do some small engine mods

You can find a nice 94-97 integra for 3-5k and a nice 98-01 integra for a few grand more.

Honestly. I personally think the integra looks fine stock. Just a nice set of wheels and slammed. Show cars..Get very very expensive and its going to be nearly impossible for you to find a car, that doesnt need body work to make it a show car.
I say wheels ( no larger than a 16" wheel),lower, then go the engine/ suspension mods.

haha well when i said show car i didnt mean like buy everything possible i just want to make it look good and make it sort of unique ya know. like i want it too look good but im not gonna put a lot under the hood. im planning on getting rims, exhaust MAYBE lower the suspension if i have enough money. but i just want to know what people have done to there integras (exterior) and how much it costs

Exactly what he said. What do you meen by show car? THings like bodykits and clear tails, or jdm look.

im a noob so im not sure what a jdm look, looks like but im not gonna get a body kit. so im gonna go with the jdm look and i just want it too look good i dont want to have an all stock car.

Like cheesnip said i think they look fine without to much work, get a nice front lip and rims and lower the car is what i would suggust. Keep it clean. I dont know to much about suspension but you can always search and ask.
Main thing is to reasearch before you buy. Always know for sure that you want it. Search feature on here can help alot also.

yeah thats most likely what im gonna do. and also get a stero system and maybe some exhaust. and i kinda want to get new headlights if i end up getting the integra with the circle headlights cuz i dont really like those

yea you can always cusomise the interior of your liking.
And i belive all tegs from like 94-01 have the circle lights. But you could always get the older generation or i guess you could somehow but new headlights on the 94-01...but youd probally have to change the bumper since is made for the circles.

yeah thats true. and yeah im deff getting a 94 - 01 teg. idk ill figure it out. i should probaly get the car first though :smackself lol

Research x5 :) For 10k you can get a nice setup with a few great mods like you described. As far as 'show car', just keep it super clean and fresh. Research, then get the car...then you will know if your more into performance or looks, or a balance between both.

I thought I would do a million things when I gkot mine, but things cost money time and nowledge..hahah ;)

EDIT: Start with the small stuff, then go big...a front end headlight conversion isn't something that i would consider a quick job. Keep that in mind when purchasing.
