Sounds fantastic now, that EQ helps out alot. I'd buy another one like it for my 05 Civic, but I don't know if I'll have anywhere to put it. I already need to mount 3 amps, an electronic crossover, 2 distro blocks and a voltage display in there!

I left that gap over the shock tower cover so I can pop it off and adjust my Koni's if I want to, and so air can get through to in between the 2 boards when I turn on the cooling fan for the amp. And that little hole under the right side of the radio, it'll be gone when I mount my PPI Q Bass knob there in a week or two....it's in the mail.

I got the Q Bass knob in:

I'm pretty suprised how loud this amp can get, it must be really underrated. It's rated at 50W X 6 @ 4 ohms. I have all the interior speakers running at 4 ohms, but the sub is running at 2 ohms X 2 (the 10" is a 2 ohm DVC sub) so it's "only" getting 200W RMS X 2 but that motherF'er is pounding harder than I could get my other PPI amp that gave it 500W RMS could! I think it's because of the Q Bass technology. I think using the Q Bass instead of the bass level control in the Alpine deck makes the amp produce more power. A pleasant suprise, makes it well worth paying an extra $38 for the Q Bass knob for all that extra bass. It sounds fucking amazing, I think I'm finally happy with the stereo in the Teg.

well adjusting the gain on the amp will always be more efficient than any controls on the head unit

Hey Tegsox thats real clean! I used to had a similar set up. I you are looking for more bass out of that I have a few tricks I can share with you. It depends how much your after the sound? I hit well over a hundred db's at a Tweeter SLAM event a while back.
Also I reccomend the Q logic Kick panels opposed to the stock mounting location , if you want to brighten the center stage
