The Same person who painted my engine bay was also supposed to be tucking my wires..
Fuse box was relocated under the dash and both side harnesses were cut. Anyway.. Tried to start a week ago and couldn't get spark or fuel. Found one unplugged connection and heard fuel pump turn on when connected. I put my distributor cap back on (was going to take my msd off and put in stock coil). I jumped inside and it Started, ran for about 40 seconds and shut off. Noticed a fuel leak in brass distribution block for fuel pressure sender. Took it off and thread taped all threads then re-installed and tried to start again and now I'm not getting fuel or spark again.
Relay is good and computer is working but no power to fuel pump and no power to distributor. I have one ground not hooked up on drivers side headlight harness and one from valve cover to radiator support.

Just to show you what I'm working with..

Down pipe is only tack welded but both o2 sensors are in. Waited three weeks for stainless 3" pipe and still can't start it.

Quite sure I found the problem.. Find out this weekend. Draining the 2 year old gas out of my tank and filling with fresh 93.
Now I get constant power to Fuel pump and spark as well.

So it was bad gas? Or was it an electrical short/other electrical issue?

If you had mentioned it had been sitting that long (and I had seen the thread) I probably would have thrown that out there.

Gasoline that sits for extended periods of time like that separates, like oil and vinegar. It is not useable when its been sitting for so long.

Glad you traced down the problem.

It didn't seem to make a difference.. There is still something slightly wrong I beleive it's probably the relay. The fuel pump won't turn on everytime at first until started then always turns on. We hooked up the lap top and erased everything and put in a sotck obd1 gsr base map then added the 1000cc injectors and it sits and idles fine.. even got to drive it! Then oil started leaking out of the head right near transmission.. I'll be explaining in build thread.
