Melt
the lone outdoorsman
Specs:
Neuspeed Race springs
2000 civic si struts (front) 1993 civic ex struts (rear)
Ingalls front camber kit (not yet installed)
DIY Rear camber kit, fine pitch 10 x 1.25 40mm 10.9 grade bolts, 4 washers per bolt.
Sittin on civic si rims with 195/50/15s, no rubbing or turning issues (yet)
Big ups:
my neighbors dan and jess (helpin out)
rich aka wicked FX (helpin get the back off when i couldnt figure it out)
brian aka sublimewls (helpin out puttin it back together)
garret aka g-rat (donating the rear sturts to the cause)
joe aka joe that is all! (letting me detail my car at his house when it was all over)
Anyhow it rides coo, rides about how my accord did with h&r sports on tokico illuminas. The issues i ran into was civic si struts dont have the brake line holder so i had to hammer that off the integra struts and put em on. Civic si struts dont fit the back if anyone is wondering. Then once we finally figured out how to get the back off (you gotta unbolt the shock fork, the bolt at the very end of the LCA and the rear sway bar) my stock shocks and sturts were stuck together, which is where i decided to call garret and see if he had anything lying around cause i heard 5g civic stuff fits. So he hooked me up and i finished this 2 days later.
on with the pics
the war zone
damn the front is slazzamed
its easy on jacks though
then once i got everything on i went to orchard to warrnty my dads craftsman ratchet i broke, then return the rented spring compressor from autozone. So i saw these guys lined all along trancas street
then i swung by joes house and made use of his hose, car wash, tire shine, interior shine, vaccum, towels, etc. Cant take pics of the finished product if the cars dirty eh
and the finished product
low but not too low, only thing ive hit so far is the mudflaps
