fiberglass enclosure

im debating whether i should attempt making a fiberglass enclosure for the trunk of my 3g teg. i figured my spare would get taken out (whether that space would get used i dont know yet. but why have a spare if i cant get to it). also i thought i would just fill up the space from the very back (towards the tail light side) of the trunk and have it meet like the edge of the shelf in the back and then just be flat on the back of it all the way to the floor. this way i still have a little trunk space and will be able to mount a shock tower brace at some point. plus my amp is already mounted to the back of the seat and i dont want to move it. yeah im a bit lazy... oh well... i like it there.

ive got 2 12s and i plan on staying with them. or atleast another set of 12s that are a little better. but mine will do for now. so does anyone have any suggestions or anything to make it go easy? or even a good design? i have instructions on how to make an enclosure with fiberglass but its just instructions. a few pointers and tips would be nice. like how in hell im gonna get a nice tight fit around all the curves in the trunk. and what kind of paint should i use when im finished?

thanks in advance guys

I wish i could help, but Im also considering doing a fiberglass box. When your done you could use any paint, but thats after a lot of sanding. And I mean a lot. I've heard that shit is itchy too.

yeah the sanding shouldnt be too much of a problem. and ive worked with like the fiberglass insulation for houses and it only gets itchy if your like hot and sweating cause then it gets all in your skin. so as long as your in a cool place with maybe some AC then it should be no problem. in my case i think im more worried about getting the whole enclosure to fit nice and snug the way i want it to
