i have my car pretty much completely apart all except the steering rack. every thing else is practically gone. i wanting know what some of this stuff is and can it be eliminated. i have looked in my haynes manual but cant find anything to tell me what they are.the first pic is this piece that hooks to spindle and wraps around to the hub part of my abs. if so i want to rip it out since i deleted my abs system.


this piece i think is just an amplifier but not positive. if it is or isnt what does it do.


i lost the top to one of these a while back and never replaced it. but again what are they and what do they do. can they be thrown away or do i need to just move them down to hide them.its the two cyclinder pieces on the firewall where some vac lines plug in to.


the last thing. whats the best way to get this black hard coating off the floor boards. some of it has flaked off or i was able to just pull it off. but the rest of it is pretty stubbern trying to get it off. any suggestions would be great.

2nd picture looks like a resistor box and its needed if your running aftermarket injectors, If not you can remove it. the black stuff is sound deadening tar. I've never removed it but if heard you can use dry ice to take it out but I forget where i saw how to do it at.

the box i think is stock. im pretty sure i have stock injectors.thanks for the info on the sound crap. what about the others any clue on them

the first pic is a wheel sensor. For the abs, it tells the abs computer how fast each wheel is moving.

sweet then i can get rid of those. i though that was what they were but wanted to make sure before i started ripping them out. thanks to all of you guys for the help i almost have here completely tore apart now.
