How many fans are supposed to be on the DA? a little confused here because mine only has one and im not sure if its the engine fan?

there are typically 2 ( if you have or had AC ) there should be at the very least one on the passenger side. this is the main cooling fan. the second one which would be located driver side is your condenser fan.
With both attached they should kick on simultaneously to cool the radiator.
