well ive read a couple of good reviews regarding the f1 racing clutch sets/kits.
and i was wondering does it make a difference if its a stage 3 or stage 4? im starting to rebuild a project integra the stage 3 says its for 320 hp / torque capacity 278 ft / lbs
as to where the stage 4 is 365 hp / torque capacity 311 ft / lbs

is there a difference if i dont even have that much hp? i plan on getting a turbo and diff performance parts, just wondering if theres really a difference, cause the price range isnt much of a diff..

stage 3 = $128
stage 4 = $168

Stage 4 is rated to hold 45hp/33tq more than stage 3.

That is the differance.

I have the stage 3 with 11K+ on it so far, it's holding up absolutely perfect :)

if its sprung and not a "puck" clutch then you will not notice the difference between 3 and 4

im so unhappy with my F1 Clutch right now, i've owned 3 of them, the first 2 were great, but it seems they change the company that makes there pressure plates and im not happy, clamping force seem a lot weaker, and there slipping in between gears

1st attempt to fix it was when the kit came in and the pressure plate looked different from the pics and from the first 2 i owned previously, i called and thats when they told me they changed companies and that supposedly it was the same quality

2nd attempt to fix it i installed the clutch and drove it about 3,000 miles and i called the technician, Art, that wasn't trying to listen to what i was claiming, he just treated me like if i was a noob and it was my first time getting this clutch after i explained i've been a 2xreturn customer, i just hung up with him

they lost a costumer that day and btw i have a F1 Xtreme Stage 4 Clutch kit feel like an oem pressure plate, i wont go back to them

:drive:
