exhaust sounds like a 2 stroke

Just bought a 92 integra.has full after market exhaust.but I can't stand noise.any help to get rid of 2stroke noise and possible deepen it up.if any can help I would appreciate it. Thanks

Like what klutch said buy a new one or a new axle back that with change the sound... does it have a cat or is it straight piped?

^x2 Tanabe I have heard is a quiet exhaust with a good tone. HKS Hi-Power is louder but still has a good tone I have heard. There aren't as many options for our cars as there are for gen 3s. If you do some searching you might find more systems that have escaped my mind at the moment

Well it goes. Header then to a test pipe' then straight back to a mufllered tip with baffle in it. If I put a bolt on cat were test pipe is will that change it

It sounds like shit.that's why I'm asking if I put a cat were test pipe is will it cause a lil back pressure and deepen it up and quite it down a lil

no back pressure, but it will definitely get rid of a lot of the rasping. You will still have the straight pipe, so it'll still sound like a hornet, but it'll be better than it is
