Exhaust Sound

Hey quick question.
I currently have a cat back straight pipe (no catalytic converter) exhaust on my integra, and I want to know would installing a catalytic converter change the sound of my exhaust? My exhaust sounds deep and I don't want it to sound like an annoying bee sounding motorcycle.

Theoretically it should not much, maybe a lil quiter, not as loud. I like to think of it as a rice filter with a proper catback, but ur straight so idk

it makes it a bit quieter, but it also makes it easier to drive i think.

Adding a cat will make the sound less raspy. What kind of exhaust are you running right now?
