Exhaust questions (HELP!!!)

ok so for whatever reason iv accumulated this extreme hate towards my 3 inch piping after my test pipe so i ordered some new piping

my question is ... is it ok to run my exhaust just my test pipe back??? would it do any damage to my engine?

i understand it will be loud but ill be driving like just up to the store and to restraunts nothing major maybe down the highway a little ways but thats it


would it damage my engine?

So are you asking if it's ok to not run exhaust after your test pipe?

If so, ya, it'll be loud, but I don't see any damage occurring with minimal driving for a short period of time, just don't rip on it, that can cause burnt exhaust valves, try to minimize driving and get the exhaust ASAP. But essentially what you'd be doing is taking a hot glass fresh from the oven with no water in it, and putting it in the freezer. Same concept. All the outside cold air is getting back in the exhaust with no resistance
