so I asked my cousin how much does a vtec engine cost. he said ALL honda's have a vtec engine, it just depends on how big the engine is. I disagree with him that every honda has a vtec engine. let me know if im wrong though. im still trying to learn about car so go easy on me thanks. He said that it probably cost $500 for a vtec engine.

You're cousin is a moron. Not all Honda engines are Vtec, and $500 damn sure wont get you a Vtec engine that runs worth a shit, aside from maybe a single slammer.

hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha....your cousin sucks. Just tell him to stick to putting gas in the car he drives and to keep his car knowledge to him self.

Yeah, he's way wrong on both statements. Integra GS, RS, LS and SE don't have VTEC engines, for starters. And the only way you'll get a VTEC engine for $500 is if there's a half million miles on it.

Your cousin is either full of fail or he meant to say that $500 might get you a VTEC B-series head to make LS/VTEC. Still gonna cost more than that to get everything put together properly.

If you want a cheap motor then go on Craigslist. You might find a deal for a high mileage LS for around 5 or 600. Otherwise you're paying at least $1200 for a VTEC engine. It's most likely gonna need to be rebuilt though so you'll be paying the same as the motors on that site in the long run.

Thats how much honda engine cost and in what cars they are in. Your cousin is retarded by the way lol
I would definitely not pay $2k for an LS motor though, lol I don't care if it only has about 35k miles!

those ls motors are not long blocks that you buy from craigs list for 1000. its a complete swap so it comes witht ranny ecu etc. they are made for people who are swapping into a civic or something.
