EDM rear fog light

I've been looking and researching about installing an rear fog light on my teg but most of the DIY's and info I get say that the fog is only on when you have the fog light turned on, (I know this makes sense cause it is fog light) but i'm just curious if theres a way to wire it where it syncs with your headlights like sidemarkers do?

Mine is wired up wit the tail lights

Mine is hooked up to a switch. A lot of people have problems with cops because it's turned on, so that's why I decided to hook it up to a switch so I can just turn it on whenever. If you splice it into your taillights like the guy above did, it will work as soon as you turn your headlights on. No sense of running wires all the way up front to your headlights/sidemarkers. Just ground it out, then splice the positive wire of the fog into a power source of your taillights and your done!

I changed the original bulb that came with the fog to a less brighter one and it hasent been a promblem yet thank god and especially living here in so cal were everything is illegal

Ive had plenty of cops drive behind me with the fog on but as long as u don't drive like a jackass or do anything stupid u should be alright
