my capacitor on my ecu keeps going bad what can cause that to happen

you actually take apart the ecu and keep replacing the capacitor?

IMO that question is going to be a bit too technical for this forum... but I'm going to love to see some of the replies.... lol

wtf how u know its the capacitor? I know know if a ECU is like a pc. But a capacitor is usually soddered to a circuit board. I would definitly replace the ecu...

Well then there's something going on with you harness it would seem. Possibly getting a surge or something? Hmmm... I'm no electrical engineer but that would be my best guess.

^^ yup. My old civic hatch had the same problem, would always burn up the ECU everytime I switched it out. You're going to have to replace your ECU and the wiring harness.
