ecu gsr to ls engine

1994 integra ls will changing the stock ecu to gsr ecu will it let my car redline higher rpm

Yeah but it aint good for your motor since its only a LS. Well there's always the exception if its built or something, but I would strongly advise not to jus for the sake of havin a higher redline, that would jus be ignorrant

i just bought car 1 day ago, and it had gsr cluster and i think it has gsr ecu because its missing the cover for it and 1 screw to hold it down is missing but it lets me go to 7900 before it redlines

The GSR redline is 8100. But yeah, I wouldn't take a stock LS up that high. You're gonna float a valve or something and screw something up

so i shouldnt redline high then, wat could i add so it wont effect anything ??
